Also look online for consumer reports and such to get reviews of different types of furnaces to get a better idea of what you should be looking for.

There are other ways too that you can save money on your heating bills. This includes installing heating tape, wrapping windows in plastic wrap and using alternate forms of heat like wood and pellet stoves.
